Terms of Use
Last updated 11 August 2026
By using ReGarb you agree to what follows. We have kept it short and in plain words, because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
What ReGarb is
ReGarb shows you how a haircut, a colour, or an outfit might look on your own photo, and gives style advice, using AI. It is a way to decide before you commit. It is a preview, not a promise. A real hairdresser, a real garment, and a real body will differ from what you see here. Do not treat a render as a guarantee of a result.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
- Keep your sign-in details to yourself. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
- One person, one account.
What you may upload
You may upload photos of yourself, or photos you have the right to use and permission to use this way. That matters, because a face belongs to the person it is attached to.
Do not upload:
- Photos of other people without their clear permission
- Photos of children
- Sexual, violent, hateful, or illegal material
- Anyone's photo in order to impersonate, harass, humiliate, or deceive them
- Anything you do not hold the rights to
We may remove content and close accounts that break these rules, without a refund.
Credits
- Rendering costs credits, and the price of each engine is shown before you spend anything.
- If a render fails, the credit comes back automatically. If one does not, tell us and we will return it.
- A render that succeeds but that you simply dislike has still been produced, and that credit is spent. AI output varies; this is the nature of the thing.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
- Credits from a one-off pack do not expire while your account exists. Deleting your account destroys them.
Payments and subscriptions
Purchases are handled by the app store you bought through (Google Play or Apple), under its rules. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and you cancel through that store's account settings, not through us, because we cannot reach your subscription. Refunds follow that store's policy.
Who owns the images
- Your photo stays yours. Uploading it does not give us ownership.
- The images ReGarb generates for you are yours to use, including commercially, as far as it is ours to grant. Note that AI-generated images may not be copyrightable in some countries; that is the law's doing, not ours.
- You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store your photo, to send it to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and to show the result back to you. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not use them in our own marketing without asking you first.
- The ReGarb name, logo, and design are ours.
AI results
ReGarb does not draw your look itself. It sends your photo to third-party AI models, run by the providers named in the Privacy Policy, and shows you what comes back.
AI-generated results are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or error-free. A render is an approximation of how something might look on you. It is not a photograph of a real haircut, a real garment on your body, or a real product.
What you get back varies with the photo you upload, its lighting and angle, the engine you pick, the words you write, and changes the providers make to their models without telling us. The same photo and the same request will not always produce the same result, and we do not promise any result will meet your expectations.
Style advice from the stylist is generated the same way. Treat it as a suggestion, not as professional advice.
Check anything that matters before you act on it. Ask your hairdresser before a cut you cannot undo. Check the seller's real photos, sizing, and returns policy before buying a garment. A render is a way to decide what to try, not a reason to skip looking.
What we do not promise
ReGarb is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that a render will always succeed, or that a result will look the way you hoped. AI models change, providers have outages, and quality varies between photos.
To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem. Nothing here removes rights you have that cannot be signed away.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time. See deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we are required to. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you notice and a chance to save your looks first.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will say so in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use ReGarb after that means you accept the new version.
